Hormone replacement therapy like premarin (which is what many take for menapuse) is nasty dangerous stuff which you don't want to take.
Hot flashes and night sweats can be reduced by consuming apple cider vinegar (in a ratio of one teaspoon to 8 ounces water (roughly)).
Other natural cures for menapause (if you consider it a disease) are to balance your intake of omega 3's to omega 6's, exercise, reduce or eliminate your simple carb consumption (like grains and sugars because yeast loves the stuff and they mess up your hormones) and to eliminate caffeine and alcohol (they mess up your hormones too).
