Description
There are a number of causes for hairloss. The main one for guys is DHT which comes from testosterone. Men who by some genetic abnormality don't produce DHT, don't suffer from hair loss (or prostate issues for that matter). There are drugs that you can take to block DHT like rogaine and propecia which can work to a limited extent, but they do have nasty side effects.
There are more natural ways to inhibit DHT production in the body including substances like Saw Palmetto which is commonly featured in natural hairloss (and prostate) supplements.
One clinically proven treatment that helps with hair loss for both men and women is aromatherapy. Basically you mix oils in a solution apply it to your head wrapped in a towel and sleep overnight with the solution. The Scottish study used 2 drops Thyme Vulgaris, 3 drops Lavandula Angustifolia, 3 drops Rosmarinus Officinalis, and 2 drops Cedrus Atlantica. This study lasted 7 months and 44% of participants noticed measurable hair growth. Other popular oils for hairloss include grapefruit, lemon, jojoba oil, chamomile and bay.
If you are lazy and don't want to make your own mixes, many producers sell these aromatherapeutic pre-mixed.
One cause of hair loss is tissue salt deficiency which many claim can be healed with apple cider vinegar taking orally. Apple cider vinegar applied topically is also a popular cure as supposedly the PH matches your scalp which reduces damage caused by washing.
In general cures for prostate issues, tend also to help with hairloss (hairloss and prostate issues have a close correlation).

Please note that many of the cures on this website are in a state of incomplete progress. To simplify, I have created a 'best natural cures' page which I believe contain the most effective, non-drug, non-surgical cures available.
